Meet Your Group Leader!
Hey, I'm Shelly Ray! I'm a social media content creator and educator, who is also a sexual assault survivor. I started sharing my story online a few years ago, and realized I was far from alone in what I experienced, as well as the areas I needed to heal.
In 2020, I completed a Sex + Relationship Coaching training program through the Somatica Institute, which included extensive trauma training. I began helping other survivors through my private Facebook group, Zoom support group, and 1:1 coaching that same year.
I am starting my Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling at Northwestern University (online program) to gain further education and credentials to continue to help people.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who is a good fit for this group?
Anyone who identifies as a sexual assault survivor, and who is wanting to deepen their healing process as well as connect with fellow survivors.
Do I have to talk in meetings?
No, you are never forced to talk during our weekly Zoom calls! If listening to others talk is the best way for you to participate at this time, that is perfectly okay. You can also keep your camera off if that makes you more comfortable.
Why isn't this free?
As a trained sex + relationship coach with a deep knowledge of trauma, I put a lot of time and energy into the meetings, filming and editing exclusive video lessons, writing email newsletters, and offering additional support and resources, and I believe time is valuable. I have also found people tend to get more out of things they spend money on, and it helps to hold yourself accountable when you know you've invested money into it. For example, are you more likely to attend a workout class you're paying for, or a free class?
